FaithAction is a network of Faith based and Community organisations serving their communities by delivering public services (such as childcare, health and social care, housing and welfare to work). 

We empower Faith based and Community organisations by offering support and training, disseminating key information and acting as a connector between Government and grassroot organisations.

What does FaithAction do….

Weekly e-news and web-based resources:

FaithAction’s e-news at your own convenience

Identify funding streams and working with faith sector organisations to connect with other sectors

Forums, Spotlights and Learning Events:

FaithAction designs and hosts various events to help disseminate information to the third sector and faith sector.  These events give FaithAction further opportunity to pass insight to Government through round table discussions and bespoke meetings.

Connections with other community based Organisations:

FaithAction has a key role in facilitating partnerships and sharing good practice between organisations and different sectors.

Who are the Founding Partners?

FaithAction was formed in 2006 by three original national partners: Faith Regeneration Foundation, Faithworks and lead partner LifeLine.  In the first three years, all three organisations managed part of FaithAction’s activity.  With the establishment of the National Office and the beginning of the Strategic Partnership with the Department of Health all three Founding Partners have become part of FaithAction’s Advisory Group with LifeLine continuing to support with administration and management.
