FaithAction Proud to Launch New Publication on Faith and Domestic Abuse
Today, FaithAction is launching our new publication ‘Faith and Domestic Abuse: Recommendations for Faith Leaders’, and it’s a fantastic conversation starter about an issue that often goes under-the-radar or even is just not talked about.
FaithAction got into this work because some of our members are delivering domestic abuse services, some are faith settings that have had to deal with domestic abuse issues, and the feedback is clear – there is more to be done. We’ve produced this in partnership with Public Health England, and we’re also doing some ongoing work with Restored.
This publication has been put together though interviews with faith leaders, faith-based organisations, domestic abuse organisations and more, and we’re excited for faith leaders to get hold of it, to read it, and to ensure that they are aware of what domestic abuse is and how to deal with it.
