Faith Manifesto
Our Faith Manifesto contained seven proposals for politicians, policy makers and funders with the aim of securing stronger partnerships for faith groups. Among these proposals were wider adoption of the APPG on Faith and Society’s Faith Covenant, implementing the Social Value Act with the help of faith groups, and the appointment of a Cabinet Minister for faith-based organisations.

At FaithAction, we’re always focusing on the idea that faith is too significant to ignore and how it can reach places in communities that nothing else can. And it is these ideas that we highlight when we come across those that do not understand the difference faith can make or the significance of faith work.
We asked for people that agreed with us on the significance of faith to lend their name in support of our campaign, and we ended up receiving signatures and messages of support from nearly 200 people.
And on the 19th of November 2014, we held a national conference in Westminster to showcase the amazing work being done by faith-based organisations and provide seminars and workshops to equip organisations to work in a rapidly-changing socioeconomic landscape. We were graced by esteemed speakers including Rt Hon Stephen Timms MP, Jeremy Lefroy MP, Jon Cruddas MP, and the Baroness Jolly, for a day attended by over 200 people!
