Talk to us! FaithAction’s response to the Civil Society consultation
From supporting the most vulnerable and disadvantaged people in society to the work of charities and community groups helping good causes, civil society (that is, the parts of society that are not the government or businesses) is part of the fabric of our society.
The government is currently running a consultation that will feed into a new Civil Society Strategy. FaithAction will be submitting a response, and we want to hear from you!
Rather than filling in forms, we’re inviting you to pick up the phone and spend five minutes telling us what you would like us to say to the government.
The government wants to hear about what is working well, and it can do to strengthen this further. It particularly wants to hear people’s ideas on how government can work with civil society to: support people to play an active role in building a stronger society; unlock the full potential of the private and public sectors to support social good; help improve communities; and build stronger public services.
