Priorities for the Plan: The future of healthcare

The Government is currently preparing a long-term plan for the future of health and care services, which will be presented in November. In order to ensure that the voices of the voluntary, community and social enterprise (VCSE) sector are heard, the charity National Voices has worked with a range of VCSE organisations to represent their views and produce a set of recommendations for the NHS.

The main recommendations are to focus on the outcomes that matter most to people, to promote equality and reduce health inequalities, and to provide a coordinated and joined-up service with the support of community organisations.
