New King’s Fund report on the role of the VCSE sector in shaping health and care

The King’s Fund have launched a new report looking at the contribution of the voluntary and community sector to shaping future health and care.

The report was commissioned by the National Gardens Scheme, who provide funding to a variety of charities involved in community health services .

Minister for Health Caroline Dinenage spoke at the launch, and in the Q&A, one of the report authors, Helen Gilburt, specifically mentioned the VCSE Health and Wellbeing Alliance as an example of charities working together with the health and care system.
