Introducing our newest team member…
In January, we welcomed a new member to the FaithAction team!
Jenny is a 22-year-old recent English graduate with a passion for writing and communications. She is now our Membership Services Administrator and will be in touch with you, our members, in due course! She is a very sociable person who loves to be around people and working as part of a team. Jenny decided to join the team because of the differences that FaithAction makes in the community. Having previously seen the Creative English programme running in a local hub, she recognised the impact that our services and opportunities make on real lives and wanted to get involved herself.
Jenny has worked in various different job roles and never really knew what path she wanted to take with her career. She feels that her new role at FaithAction will provide her with a plethora of new skills, giving her insight into a new sector and providing a strong foundation on which for her to build her career. She is most excited to be working on the communications side of her job, putting her degree into practice and connecting with people from all over the country.
She is very keen to get some of you, our members, as guest authors on our blog. You could tell your story about your experience running our Creative English programme, or you could write something about prevalent social issues and how you are seeking to combat them.
Some relevant topics that you could write on include:
- Belonging
- Loneliness
- Mental health
- Physical health
- Building community
- Volunteering
- Supporting people into employment
If you are interested in guest authoring on one of our blogs, or have any ideas as to how you could contribute, please email Jenny – [email protected]
