Strengthening Faith Institutions are holding various training sessions on safeguarding:
Safeguarding for Trustees
The aim of this session is introduce the key aspects of good governance in safeguarding and outline the safeguarding responsibilities of charity trustees. It is suitable for any trustee of a charity who wishes to expand their understanding of safeguarding and how it affects their role. At the end of the session, there will be a Q&A opportunity.

A Strong Safeguarding Culture
For our efforts to work well in protecting children and adults from harm, organisational culture is one of the key aspects of safeguarding that must be right. This event will explore the outlines of a good safeguarding culture and prompt reflection on how well this works within your place of worship.

Safeguarding Children
This session will introduce the key concepts of child safeguarding. It is suitable for any member of staff or volunteer who may have contact with children, for those who wish to understand the topic better or who would like to refresh their knowledge.
