New report from Friends, Families and Travellers on access to GP services
Friends, Families and Travellers (FFT) have released the results of their mystery shopping exercise in a report titled Locked out: A snapshot of access to General Practice for nomadic communities during the COVID-19 pandemic. FFT are part of the Health & Wellbeing Alliance, of which FaithAction is a member.
The exercise found that 74 out of 100 GP practices refused registration because the mystery shopper was unable to provide proof of identity or proof of fixed address among other issues.
