Webinar: 2021 Places of Worship Protective Security Scheme
The Home Office is offering funds for places of worship to enhance their security of up to £56,000, and they will pay for 100% of the cost of the work. The deadline to apply is 2 July. CST are holding a special webinar on the 2021 Places of Worship Protective Security Scheme and how to organise security at 2pm on Wednesday 16th June.
The webinar looks at the criteria for applications, the timeline and the processes involved. They will also discuss the need for organising security, looking at: having someone take responsibility for security, then create and motivate a team; the roles of the team, risk management and developing an action plan.
The programme will be of interest to any member of a community that feels vulnerable to violent extremism or hate crime. Register your interest by emailing enquiries@safe.cst.org.uk.
