Resources: Conversations on COVID-19 vaccines with people with experience of homelessness
Healthy London Partnership and Expert Focus have launched a video project sharing views and discussions on COVID-19 vaccines with experts by experience of homelessness.
The videos and learnings are a useful tool to support partners, including frontline staff in homelessness setting and local vaccine delivery teams, in continuing to encourage individuals to get their first dose, or return for their second or booster doses. The resources consist of:
- Seven short videos have been produced where each participant shares their reasons for getting vaccinated, or why they would encourage others to get theirs.
- A 35-minute group discussion video was also produced where the participants discuss several topics and share their individual experiences of life during the COVID-19 pandemic, why they chose to get vaccinated, and ways to build trust to encourage peers to get vaccinated to help keep themselves and others in the community safe.
