Webinar: Providing Psychosocial and Mental Health Support to Ukrainian Refugees in England
The National NHS Mental Health Team in collaboration with National EPRR (Emergency, Preparedness, Resilience and Response) Team are holding a joint clinically focused event to consider the Psychosocial and mental health support to Ukrainian refugees arriving in this country.
This is a clinical event aimed to brief ICS’s, EPRR networks and Mental Health Services on the clinical and support needs related to Ukrainian refugees who may be hosted here. The webinar will also be of interest to NHS partners in both Local Authorities and the VCS.
The event will outline the evidence base on providing psychosocial and mental health support to refugees, share learning from previous incidents especially those related to Afghan refugees, and provide background on mental health provision in Ukraine which may inform some of the expectations of Ukrainian refugees arriving into this country.
