NHS England: Research on recruitment of volunteers
NHS England is taking forward some research around recruitment of volunteers in the NHS (either managed directly by the NHS or by third parties that provide services for the NHS).
As part of their ongoing research, they have a survey and are holding a series of workshops in the next few weeks. The survey aims to capture the high-level costs of the volunteering process, both in terms of technology and systems and the staff time required to manage the work.
The workshops will involve coming together with other volunteer recruiters to have an open conversation reflecting on challenges with the current process and what the value of a volunteering recruitment website would be for your organisation.
How to get involved:
You can take part in the survey. This should only take around 10 minutes to complete.
You can take part in a workshop:
- Tuesday 4th October 11-12.15pm – Primary care
- Thursday 6th October 1-2.15pm – Secondary care
- Wednesday 12th October 1-2.15pm – VCSE
Alternatively they have 1-1 sessions running throughout the remainder of this year.
If you are interested in taking part in the workshops, or any of their future research, please contact [email protected] to indicate your interest. This will give consent to researchers from TPXimpact to get back in touch with you.
