ChurchWorks for Wellbeing Conference, 18 May 2023
ChurchWorks are holding a Wellbeing Conference, aimed at church and ministry leaders and congregants. The conference is aimed at those who would benefit from understanding more about resources and training that are available to support them in their response to the mental health crisis, connecting with other churches in a similar position, and hearing more about the role of the church in responding to mental health.
How can we extend our love effectively and sustainably? Should churches be supporting good mental health? Can we proactively support and complement NHS provision?
ChurchWorks for Wellbeing is an opportunity to explore these questions and to develop clear, simple and practical next steps for you and your community. Stuart Keir, ChurchWorks Commissioner, has created a blog that outlines the benefits of the conference.
Speakers include:
- Pastor Agu Irukwu
- Pastor Glyn Barret
- Bishop of London
- Corin Pilling, CEO of Sanctuary Mental Health Ministries
- Julie Keir, Wellbeing Lead for !Audacious Wellbeing
- Dr Keith Foster, Head of Faculty for Applied Theology at Waverley Abbey
The conference takes place on 18th May 2023 from 9:30am to 4pm at Westminster Chapel. You can find out more and reserve tickets here.
