How can government, employers and others act together for better working-age health and a thriving workforce?
The Health Foundation is hosting a new event!
‘How can government, employers and others act together for better working-age health and a thriving workforce?’ will take place at Mary Ward House, Tavistock Place, London, WC1H 9SN, on Tuesday 16th January 2024.
The event will start with a panel session and Q&A, chaired by Jennifer Dixon, CEO of the Health Foundation. Jennifer will be joined on the panel by Commission chair Sacha Romanovitch OBE and other experts. Drinks and networking reception will follow at 5.15pm.
The purpose of the event is to discuss the economic and wider policy implications of our working age-health challenge, and the recent Autumn Statement, to hear how the Commission will partner with expert organisations to develop evidence and engage with government and employers to build a shared understanding of the problem and action needed. The event will give you a great opportunity to network with others committed to better working-age health and explore how you or your organisation can get involved.
The new Commission, supported by the Health Foundation, will review evidence and make recommendations to improve working-age health, and to help more people with health conditions get the support they need to access, remain or thrive in the workforce.
