Launch – Keep it Local for Better Health
Locality are inviting all interested health system colleagues to the launch of Keep it Local for Better Health, Their new guidance combines the learnings of the past three years of work on the Health and Wellbeing Alliance with 10 years of growing the Keep it Local campaign.
The guidance presents a clear and effective approach for ICSs to achieve their priorities by unlocking the power of communities through the six Keep it Local principles.
The launch will be held online on Thursday 15th February, 11:30am to 1:00pm.
At the launch event attendees will discover how the Keep it Local approach can support the shift to prevention, tackle health inequalities, create social and economic development, and embed the VCSE within health systems, how the six Keep it Local principles can be adopted in practice by all tiers of ICSs and how health systems and their local VCSE partners are already working in this way across the country.
Keep it Local will also discuss how their other recent research and guidance on the Keep it Local for Better Health approach, including how local VCSE organisations can get ready for health system funding and how local VCSE organisations create inclusive and culturally competent health services.
