LGBT Partnership resource launch and closing event

The LGBT Partnership, fellow members of the VCSE Health and Wellbeing Alliance, are holding a celebration event and launching two new resources on 25th March.

With a focus on supporting LGBT groups to work with health and care organisations, at neighbourhood, place, and system levels, more effectively and collaboratively,  the Partnership have developed the following resources:

• A resource aimed at LGBT groups, with guidance on how to build relationships, understanding health organisations, navigating barriers to collaboration, and learning from case-studies that have been built over the last year.
• A resource aimed at health and care organisations, exploring the challenges LGBT organisations face when working with them, understanding more about why to work with LGBT organisations, and an introduction to LGBT health inequalities.

At the event, the resources will be launched and some key takeaways will be discussed. It will also be a celebration of the work of the Partnership and the contributions of its members over the past 10 years, and thinking together about the future of health work in the LGBT sector.
