Dr Arun Chopra appointed as CQC’s first Chief Inspector of Mental Health  

Dr Arun Chopra has been appointed as the Care Quality Commission’s (CQC’s) first Chief Inspector of Mental Health.

The creation of the new role of Chief Inspector of Mental Health recognises the crucial importance of mental health services in supporting people to lead fuller, healthier lives, and the need for specialist expertise in regulating these services.
