Contacts in the health system

Regional Voices, one of the Strategic Partners, has produced lists of contact details for people in the health system in each region of England. These include Clinical Commissioning Groups, Health and Wellbeing Boards, local Healthwatch organisations, Commissioning Support Units and the CQC in each local authority.

Structure of the health system explained

Think tank the King’s Fund has produced a helpful animation, ‘An alternative guide to the new NHS in England’, which explains the structure of the health system. Be aware that this is already a little out of date, as it mentions Monitor, the regulator, which became part of NHS Improvement in April 2016.
