NHS Citizen

NHS Citizen is a way of giving the public a say in the NHS in England and creating a new culture of collaboration. FaithAction will be promoting NHS Citizen to faith groups, alongside other ways of getting involved in how health services are run.

FaithAction and NHS England both want to make sure that more diverse groups of people are taking up opportunities like this to help shape health services – so that services can better meet people’s needs.

Having been involved with the launch of NHS Citizen, we want to equip individuals from faith communities to have a voice and an advocacy role in health and care provision, and help ensure that services reach the most marginalised groups in society.
